Driving District Admin Purchases with Lifecycle Email

Driving District Admin Purchases
with Lifecycle Email

Impact

Shipped educator-facing lifecycle email campaigns exceeding click rate targets by 12% across +100k K-12 schools

Overview

Clever is the single sign-on (SSO) and rostering layer behind most U.S. K-12s, used in over 77% of U.S. schools. The buyer is the District Admin (DA), the districtโ€™s version of a CTO: the person who decides what software a district adopts and who carries the risk if student data goes wrong.

I joined the internal design team as a Brand Designer, during the time Kahoot! acquired Clever, designing lifecycle emails and templates that moved DAs toward purchase. I reported to the design lead, brand design manager and marketing managers to ship emails and web. It was a humbling place to learn about education system and the best design mentorship.
